Course Description

This course is an interactive introduction to watershed modeling and hydrological analysis utilizing ArcGIS Pro and the ArcHydro toolbox. It is intended for users with some familiarity with GIS, because it combines spatial analysis tools with hydrological theory for users to delineate watersheds, stream networks, and sub-basins. Goals

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Identify basic principles of hydrology as relevant to GIS.

Perform geoprocessing steps to determine flow direction and accumulation.

Install and configure the ArcHydro tools in ArcGIS Pro.

Prerequisites
