Palak Talwar

Hi, I am Palak Talwar, and I'm really excited to share my course on Automotive Software Functional Safety with you. I hold an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering and a Master’s in Control Systems from the University of Michigan.

My career began in automotive consulting, where I worked with large OEM clients on software functional safety and vehicle controls. I then moved to work on autonomous car safety, helping shape software safety for a large tech start-up's self-driving car platform, leveraging my experience with ISO 26262 standard. In my current role, I lead a talented team of engineers tackling key safety challenges in electric vehicles.

I love sharing my knowledge with students, peers, and organizations, and have conducted seminars on software safety at various universities globally.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and watching TV shows. These interests help me stay balanced and energized, contributing to both my professional and personal growth.
