Building your own API with Django and Python can seem overwhelming at first, but it doesn't have to be! In this course, I’ll walk you through it step by step and you’ll be building your first API in MINUTES. You’ll be amazed how quick and easy it is to create very professional APIs using the Django Rest Framework, even if you have no programming or web design experience at all.

By the time we’re finished, you’ll have a solid understanding of the Django Rest Framework and how to use it to build awesome APIs that will serve up any data you like.

What We'll Build...

We'll build an API that lets you show any sort of data that you like.  The data will be publicly accessible through your API using JSON, just like any API you've ever used before.

We'll mainly use the popular Django Rest Framework to build and serve our App. You'll learn how to create a database model to hold your data, how to build a Serializer to convert the database data to and from JSON, and URLs and Routes to create webpages for your API.
