Course Description

Now that the CISSP has been around for a while, the prior course syllabus was created in April 2018. But the outline of the exam has undergone a significant change. This course will assist you clarify all the recent changes taken place in the exam syllabus. It will provide an overview of what's changed and how this material has been developed for you.
CISSP Curriculum Overview
The CISSP is a fairly comprehensive course that covers a wide range of topics. It includes anything from physical security and fire protection to more in-depth technical information on the operation of the Internet, software development, and security testing.
With the exception of one, all of the domains have seen substantial modifications. As we shall see, number one has undergone a little change. However, domains 2 through 7 have all seen substantial alterations. (We will also explore how some of those modifications were already previously included in the official practice exams, study guide, and course materials.)
When we look at Domains 2 to 8, the resource categories are now shown as the resources we need to safeguard, and the various data activities in the data lifecycle are now highlighted. These are the key and most significant changes. We went through hundreds of slides each day on the official five-day course that I took, which cost around $2,500 (US).
This course covers all eight categories, namely-
Security and Risk Management
Asset Security
Security Architecture and Engineering
Communications and Network Security
Identity and Access Management
Security Assessment and Testing
Security Operations
Software Development Security
You won't be reading more than 50 books and standards because there are 1,800 pages in the first two alone! Without any direction on where to look for assistance, it is a very steep hill to climb. Instead, this course will provide a complete resourceful guide a walk through to the CISSP curriculum. You won’t have to go through a ton of material but use just this one.
