Excel Mastery: Beginner to Advanced with Projects

Microsoft Excel is an essential application to collect, process, and display data. By using structured sequence, this course follows a project-based approach that will take you from beginner to expert and use realistic data sets and systems to apply Excel skills and use the skills you learn in real-life scenarios.
Topics expected to be covered:
Functions & Formulas: SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MIN, MAX, IF, HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and also text functions;

• Charts & Visualisation: Area, 3D, no marker, doughnut, stacked, funnel, histogram, map, and scatter plot types of charts;
• Data Tools & Analysis: Data validation, conditional formatting applied to analysis, data-sanitization and cleaning, named ranges, and dashboards;
• PivotTables & PivotCharts: (to create interactive summaries we can combine into dashboards to develop insights and analytics;
• Automation: record macros and develop VBA to automate reporting and other recurring tasks.

We will provide a dataset, called the Superstore Sales Dataset, for you to practice each concept throughout the course, as it will be our specific dataset for the course.
