Goals

Course Goals

• Understand Lean Six Sigma Fundamentals:
• Grasp the fundamental principles and methodologies of Lean Six Sigma, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) and DMADV (Define, Measure Analyze Design Verify).
  Recognize the role that Lean Six Sigma plays in integrating Lean principles with Six Sigma principles in order to improve IT process.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to IT Processes:
  Identify key IT processes and functions that can benefit from Lean Six Sigma techniques such as software development, IT service management and system maintenance.
  Develop skills for mapping and analyzing IT processes in order to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Use Data-Driven Decision Making:
  Utilize statistical tools and techniques for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data in IT projects.
  Apply data analysis methods for identifying root causes of issues as well as measuring the impact of improvement initiatives.
• Implement Process Improvement Strategies:
  Design process improvement strategies specific to IT environments and implement them accordingly.
  Employ Lean Six Sigma tools like Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC (Suppliers Inputs Process Outputs Customers) diagrams or root cause analysis so as to drive improvements.
• Manage IT Projects with Lean Six Sigma:
  Develop project management skills to lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives in IT projects.
  Understand how to align Lean Six Sigma projects with organizational goals and IT strategies.

Prerequisites

Pre-Requisites:

• Work experience in IT sector
• Completion of Green Belt training
