About the Master Class:
This course teaches students about various manufacturing processes which are used in the industry for making production and prototyping techniques. Particularly in-depth knowledge is given for injection moulding, compression moulding, sheet metal fabrication, vacuum forming, 3-D printing has been discussed in detail. Showing the real-time pictures and machineries and animations so that students can get a very good understanding which is part of how the machines enable to operate different products and prototypes to cater the needs. Also explains about how different materials could be used for different manufacturing processes based on production quantity you want or maybe for a prototyping purpose and some of the best fast prototyping methods has been taught to the students in this course.

In-depth knowledge of injection moulding which includes gait, runner, parting half, draft angle, tools and moles, how the ejected pins are actuated in injection moulding process has been explained with clear animation videos for better understanding for students.
Process explanation of sheet metal punching bending and forming has been shown with animations and simple explanations given.
Explanation about how 3-D printing methods can be used for quick prototyping and selective laser centring, additive, subtractive manufacturing methods has been shown with video explanations
Explanation about the vacuum farming method showing the diet tool then the whole system for students to understand how quickly prototypes can be made with less cost and less time for low tooling cost.
