Welcome to Microsoft Excel for Beginners to Advanced!

In this course, new learners or learners wanting to improve on their existing Excel proficiency will have the opportunity to learn Excel in a simple, fun, and effective manner starting from beginner concepts all through to advanced concepts.

Who is this course for?

• For people who have no idea how to begin using Excel or have very little Excel experience
• For people who are interested in learning the basics and/or further improving their Excel proficiency
• For anyone interested in learning Excel. Ideally, these people are: primary-, senior- and high-school learners, university students, teachers, lecturers, employees, and employers

This course aims to deliver four main Learning Concepts, namely:

1. Theory - The learner will learn about Excel's user interface and how to perform basic navigation.

2. Interaction - The learner will learn and engage with the different tools and functions in Excel.

3. Application - The learner will become proficient in knowing how to apply the knowledge and teachings learned.

4. Creation - The learner will become proficient in knowing how to use what has been learned to create something new, independently.

My name is Suhail Gangaram and I will be your teacher for this course.

I have a BSc. (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree with a higher certificate in Production/Operations and Productivity Management.

My Excel journey began when I first started working in a process improvement role, where my work involved improving operational processes and efficiencies within industrial production environments.

Currently, I am working as a Business Intelligence Analyst, and the work I have done up until now involves and continues to involve the use of Excel, which I mainly use for analyses and designing interactive reports and dashboards from scratch.

I want learners to learn Excel in a manner that is simple, fun, and engaging. Therefore, I have designed this course in a way that is easy to follow and understand.
