Course Description
In this Blender and Unreal Engine 5 course, you'll learn and master the modelling and texturing techniques used in the video game industry, complementing the process with Substance Painter and Substance Sampler.
Hello and welcome to the Blender 3.2.2 Video Game Modelling and Texturing course.
We will learn the workflow used in the video game industry.
We will use the programs Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Sampler, Photoshop and Unreal Engine 5.
We will start by blocking the model, we will make each part based on the reference images, we will move on to making the low poly and high poly to generate each detail and achieve a good finish, We will open the UVS of each model in the scene and the Props to export the model to Substance Painter and begin generating the materials and textures, we will do the Texture Bake using the high poly.
We will export the model to Unreal Engine 5 and apply the textures correctly.
We will pass all the textures to Blender using nodes.
We will learn how to make a high-quality render in EEVEE
We learn the optimal way to create props and scenarios for video games, including low-poly and high-poly modelling, sculpting, UV creation, texture creation, texture baking, lighting, and rendering.

- You will be able to model any type of 3D object in high and low polygon resolution.

Prerequisites
- No prior knowledge of Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Sampler, or Unreal Engine 5 is required. We'll start the project from scratch.
- A PC or a MAC computer
- Have the programs installed
- Have a mouse with the middle button or the scroll wheel.
- No digitiser tablet needed
