Course Description

Hello, my name is Wallace Alves, I am a Control and Automation Engineer, specialist in Software Engineering. Since 2011 I have worked in the field of industrial automation and robotics. I've had the opportunity to work with several brands of servo motors. Part of this content that I learned in the field, I am making available here in the form of training with practical and theoretical classes about servo motors.

The Servo motor is an electromechanical component present in almost all industrial automation and robotic machines/devices, which require: precision, speed, high acceleration, torque and process repeatability.

This training comes to show how a servo motor works in theory and practice. How to parameterize and test servo drives and motors in a didactic way, with support for students.

The servo motor software is free and will be available in classes. There is nothing on the market like this training yet! Take advantage of this opportunity and good studies.

Goals

What you will learn:

  • Operate servo motors;
  • Closed-loop motor parameterization and control;
  • Control the motor in different modes: position, speed, torque, individual and protocols;
  • Use digital and analog inputs to control the servo motor;
  • View engine variables through the digital oscilloscope;
  • Auto tuning adjustment;
  • Programming the algorithm that controls the motor individually;
  • Enable inputs and outputs;
  • Adjustment of the homing routine.

Prerequisites

Understanding some electronics concepts, but it is not mandatory.
