Goals of PMI-RMP Course: Risk Tracking and Reporting

• Know the basics of monitoring risks:
  Attain an all round knowledge of principles and techniques for monitoring project risks.
  Understand how risk monitoring fits within the larger context of risk management framework and its role in determining project success.
• Implement risk tracking methods:
  Become skilled at employing different instruments and methods for tracking identified risks such as risk registers or dashboards.
  Acquire knowledge about setting up key risk indicators (KRIs) to be used as metrics for effective monitoring of risks status.
• Analyze performance data on risks:
  Be equipped with the analytical skills to evaluate the trends on risks affecting the organizations as well as assess whether their responses were successful or not.
  Learn how to interpret risk performance reports which are crucial in any project manager’s work.
• Communicate effectively regarding chance of loss:
  Be trained in making presentations aimed at preparing and presenting reports on what happened concerning project progress
  Make use of languages that are simple enough so that they can easily be understood by everyone involved including stakeholders who need information concerning a given project’s investments;
• Evaluate and adapt strategies for managing risk:
  Acknowledge that it is essential to monitor whether these projects’ plans have been efficient in decreasing or avoiding loss chances using some measures after all steps have occurred at their time intervals needed to be done before starting new ones.
