Temenos Transact (T24) Core Banking System - Account

Goals

• Account Overview: Understand the complete structure of accounts and the place of accounts in core banking
  Account Classification: Understand the type of accounts- customer accounts, internal accounts, regular accounts, and high volume accounts
  Account Balances: Understand how T24 tracks and updates account balances in real time, including available balance, ledger balance, and overdraft limits.
  Account Statements: Identify account statement generation and personalization; information such as deposits, withdrawal, interest and fees;
  Interest and Accrual: learn how the application calculates interest accrual, which type of postings is recognized, and what does T24 does to maintain all postings relating to interest accounts;
  Posting Restrictions: configure a posting restriction against the debit/credits to a selected account based on a given condition in line with business requirement
  Blocked funds: Learn about the functionality used to reserve or block funds in accounts, like for security of loans or for compliance reasons.
  Account closing: Find out how to close accounts, settle balances, and maintain account records for audit and compliance
  Account query: Learn the way to retrieve information details about account by using query in T24
  Account parameter: Understand ways of using account parameters for applying advanced features and having account parameters customized.

Prerequisites

• Basic Knowledge of Core Banking: A general understanding of banking systems and their functions, especially in core banking operations
• Should have completed Previous introductory courses on Temenos Transact, such as: Temenos Transact (T24) Core Banking System - Comprehensive Introduction, Basic Concepts, Customer
• Familiarity with Banking Terminology: A basic understanding of banking terms such as accounts, balances, transactions, interest accrual, and customer management.
