Writing full research paper

The course will have a guided, step-by-step procedure in writing a research paper, walking the students through each phase of academic research. Participants will begin by conducting preliminary research on how to select a relevant and manageable topic, a comprehensive literature review, defining research questions or hypothesis clearly. Through this course, selection of appropriate research methods, sampling techniques, and ethical considerations will be developed.

This would help students to practically engage in the collection and analysis of data, appropriately in qualitative and quantitative techniques. It guides student writers in fine detail on the structure of a research paper, even when writing clear and coherent sections such as the introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.

Students will also be instructed in the presentation and interpretation of results in a clear and logical manner. The course will also address best practices in revising and editing, which could provide them with the means to transform their drafts into polished, professional documents.Finally, participants will be guided on how to appropriate source citation using multiple citation styles such as APA, MLA, Chicago, etc. and the steps that have to be undertaken before submitting the research to a scientific journal or a conference.

At the end of this course, every student will possess all the expertise in carrying out and writing a good research paper as well as for professional publication with academic purposes.
