Drew Smith is the founder and CEO of Automata Technology Services LCC and has been supporting Apple technologies since his very first Apple -- the IIgs!

Automata Technology Services has a combined 40 years of experience designing, installing, and managing technology solutions specializing in creative and education markets.  Drew has been publishing books on Apple device support and teaching online courses on system administration since 2019.  Prior to this, Drew spent 20 years in the education sector providing technology support and solutions design services for the higher education market across the United States.

In his spare time, Drew enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games, and listening to indie rock.  He also spends too much money on LEGO and hobbiest electronics projects.  His passion is sharing best practices for system administration and IT infrastructure standardization, particularly in multi-location or enterprise environments.
